Bounce and Balance!
This exercise continues to warm up your core area, but more importantly it is really fun!
The trick to the balance drill is to lean back. Try practicing this on the floor if using
the ball is difficult at first.

Side to Side Twists
The key here is to tilt your upper body backwards at a 45 degree angle, but start
at an easier angle if you prefer. Of course, the more you work those obliques, the
less love handles you’ll have, so lean back and enjoy!

Planks
You get to lie down when you do these! When you raise your hips up off the ground,
focus on keeping your pelvis level. If you raise your right side higher, you will
feel the ball start to roll to the left. Then when you do the ball rolls, remember
to keep the ball’s movement in a smooth straight line.

High Fives
While you are still laying down, place your feet evenly on the sides of the ball –
at east and west, then raise the ball evenly with straight legs raised at 90 degrees and
tap the ball with your hands. Then twist your feet slowly so they are in the north south positions.
Don’t forget to suck your tummy in and breathe!

Arm Raises
This drill requires some light dumbells. If you don’t have any, just use two cans of soup.
Keep the tushie tight and the legs straight. Most importantly, the back remains in line
from your head to your toes when you raise up and flatten your stomach by sucking it in. Relax
completely when your curl down over the ball.
